I got the third SOLEX 32 TDID (1971) working today. Three out of three working perfectly with stable idle.
The last one was troublesome, because of the repair kit being faulty and I had to open my old NOS-kit. First the membrane for acc-pump got stuck, due to wrong dimension on metal plate (against spring). Then idle was erratic/non existing. It was the "new" inlet valve that did not close. With the NOS parts it worked.
So, once again, if all flanges are plane, no excessive play in spindles and nothing sticks, it is a very nice carb. And it is ORIGINAL!
